Erasmus+ Q&A, part of the „EU Talks”- launching event of the EU Delegation to the Republic of Moldova national communication campaign “Stronger Together: Creating Opportunities for Youth”

The National Erasmus+ Office in Moldova has launched on Thursday, September 19, the information campaign about the Erasmus+ Programme, 2019 edition, with an “Erasmus+ Q&A” event.

The Erasmus+ Q&A session was part of the launching event of the EU Delegation to the Republic of Moldova national communication campaign “Stronger Together: Creating Opportunities for Youth” – EU Talks, held within Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova premises. The EU Talks agenda included the exhibition of the Erasmus+ projects. The Head of the EU Delegation to the Republic of Moldova Peter Michalko, the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research, Liliana Nicolaescu-Onofrei, and also young people interested in Erasmus+ Programme have visited the implemented in the Moldovan universities with EU support projects’ stands.

Also, the Erasmus+ opportunities for students and university staff have been presented by Claudia Melinte, the coordinator of the National Erasmus+ Office in Moldova, Rodica Crudu, coordinator of Erasmus+ Jean Monnet projects, and Alexandru Burlacu, beneficiary student of the Erasmus+ Programme.

“Erasmus+ Q&A” has gathered around 120 young people interested in the EU Programme Erasmus+. During this event, participants have obtained information about the types of scholarships available in the Programme, and how to apply for as a student or after graduation.

The National Erasmus+ Office in Moldova together with Eramus+ alumni have presented practical tips on the organisation of the academic mobility for studies and traineeships and regarding the application for the master programmes.

In the end, the participants were tested in a quiz and awarded.

Likewise, “Erasmus+ Q&A” will be organised for the students from Balti, Comrat, and Cahul. Similar information sessions will be organised for the academic staff from Chisinau and regions.
