Three Jean Monnet projects from Moldova will be funded under the Call launched in 2014

The European Commission published the list of the awarded organizations that have applied for Jean Monnet Activities funding, under the Call for proposals EAC/A04/2014. Three Moldovan institutions have been selected to be financed for their proposals. 

“Europeanization of University Curricula” is a Jean Monnet project that will be implemented at the Moldovan International Relations Institute. Teaching and research activities will be organized under the Jean Monnet Modules action.

Another project - “Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence in European Economic Integration Studies” has been approved for funding under the Centre of Excellence action and will be coordinated and implemented by the Academy of Economic Studies.

The third project, named “Deepening Understanding, Information and Communication of the European Union in the Eastern Partnership”, is planned to be coordinated by the E-Institute, under the action Jean Monnet support to institutions and associations

The Jean Monnet Actions, as part of the Erasmus+ Programme, aim at promoting excellence in teaching and research in the field of European Union studies worldwide. These actions also aim at fostering the dialogue between the academic world and policymakers, in particular with the aim of anhancing governance of EU policies. European Union studies comprise the study of Europe in its entirety with particular emphasis on the European integration process in both its internal and external aspects.
