18 Moldovan universities signed Mobility Agreements with EU institutions

Over 240 students (144) and teachers (100) from 18 Moldovan universities will have the posibility to apply for mobility scholarships, financed by European Union's Programme for Education, Traning, Youth and Sport. This year, after the first selection of Erasmus+ projects, Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) from Moldova managed to sign mobility partnerships with 27 universities from 12 EU countries.

The majority of the short-term scholarships available for Moldovan students and academic staff will be offered by universities from Romania, Spain and Bulgaria. Other institutions that will cooperate with Moldova are HEIs from Greece, Poland, Turkey, Belgium, France, Hungary and Lithuania. In the same time, the agreements also imply mobilites from European Union to Moldova. Therefore, 7 students and 21 staff from the Community will visit Moldova for short-term studies or teaching activities.

The list of institutions from Moldova that managed to sign agreements with EU universities can be accessed here.

Those interested in mobility programs are invited to contact the Department for International Relations of the university they study or teach at to fiind out more about the specialities or the cycle studies that offer scholarships, list of documents or the deadline for application.

Erasmus+ mobility projects are part of Key action 1 – International Credit Mobility and were selected after the 2015 Call for proposals. There is a big probability for the number of short-term mobility scholarships to grow, as in 2015 an Additional Call for proposals was organized. Final results will be published in the beginning of 2016.
