Human Resources Management at Higher Education Institutions

On March 23, 2017, National Erasmus+ Office in Moldova and the Ministry of Education have organized the seminar „Human Resources Management at Higher Education Institutions”. This event was organized as part of the activities of Higher Education Reform Experts for 2016-2017 within the Erasmus+ Programme. This time the seminar was hosted by the State Agrarian University of Moldova.

The seminar was led by the European expert Prof. Stephen HAGEN, former Vice-Chancellor, University of Wales, Newport, UK (2009-2013), former Vice-Rector for Change Management at the National Research University of Information Technologies, Mechanics and Optics (ITMO), St. Petersburg (2013-2015), Expert of the European Commission.

Key subjects that have been addressed during the event were: 

  1. Key performance indicators of human resources in higher education; 
  2. Diversity and task combination;
  3. Linking of research activities with teaching activities;
  4. Standardizing academic work;
  5. The practice of universities from the European Union and Moldova.

The event was attended by 138 participants – university rectors, vice-rectors responsible for human resources management, heads of university human resources departments, deans and head of chairs; representatives of 22 higher education institutions, the Ministry of Education, the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Professional Education (ANACIP) and EU Delegation representative.
